I'm Kathryn, the creator of Kathartic Studios.
Since I was a girl, I've dreamed of a world where we are each a bit more enchanted by beauty.
I've dreamed of a world where imperfection is celebrated, and where value of the journey outweighs that of the outcome.
Yet as I've grown older, I've seen countless creatives denying themselves of beauty as a result of self-doubt.
This struggle is particularly vexing for women, who are much more likely to discount positive feedback than their male counterparts and often describe themselves as their own worst critic.
Creativity and fear are so closely related. It's heartbreaking to watch someone find confusion and insecurity in something that could otherwise bring such joy to them and their community.
Enter Kathartic Studios, my personal pledge to create fearlessly and raise a platform for others to do the same.
My mission is to coach and inspire women to make what moves them and start a creative revolution within their hearts that will last a lifetime.
It's all in the name. Catharsis is about letting go of the ways in which you are holding yourself back, breaking down walls to let your inner light shine through.
